Katherine Jean Kenyon

Katherine Jean Kenyon unexpectedly passed away Wednesday night, July 3, 2013 at the young age of 56. Kathy was born in Minnesota on June 26, 1957. In 1967, Kathy moved with her family to Arizona. She married her husband, Gary Kenyon in June of 1975. The couple were blessed with three sons. Kathy loved her home in Show Low and enjoyed spending time with her many friends and family; whom were all proud of her accomplishments as a pharmacy technician. Kathy was a selfless, caring and strong woman. Her strength most recently was evidenced as she valiantly battled and overcame breast cancer. We all love her very much and she will greatly be missed by many. Kathy is survived by her mother, Shirley Kells; husband, Gary Kenyon; 3 sons: Heath Kenyon, Wyatt Kenyon, Kurt Kenyon; 2 sisters: Patti Anderson, Vicki Smith and 7 grandchildren. "WALK IN THE GRACE OF OUR LORD" and, "ALWAYS READ THE BIBLE." was one of her mantras. She also lived by the following quote: "START WITH HONESTY...IT LEADS TO INTEGRITY...WHICH FOSTERS TRUST... AND RESULTS IN RESPECT." A special memorial service for Kathy will begin 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 12, 2013 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona. Kathy's family is thankful for all of the acts of kindness they have received during this difficult time and are especially grateful for all of the prayers offered up on their behalf.
