Tony Jaeger, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona, peacefully passed away surrounded by his loving family at his home in Show Low on Sunday, June 30, 2013. He was 74. Tony was born to his parents, the late Jerome and Annie (Scow) Jaeger on March 24, 1939 in McNary, Apache County, Arizona. Tony had the opportunity, and was proud that he built his own home with the help of his many lifelong friends here in Show Low. He was a very dedicated and hard worker. Tony was a truck driver for over 40 years and was also a volunteer fire fighter for the town of Show Low for over 20 years before finally enjoying his retirement. An avid fisherman, he enjoyed spending many days and nights on the Black River with his many fishing buddies. Those memories he often talked about and cherished deeply. A man with a great sense of humor, he had such a great sense of fair play. He was a devoted family man that loved spending time with his grandchildren, all of whom he was deeply proud. Along with his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Lucille Buck, whom he dearly missed. His family finds comfort in knowing that they are now reunited once again. Tony is survived by his loving wife, Kay Jaeger of Show Low; children: Marvin Paul Jaeger of Lakeside, Arizona and Mindy (Barry) Brooksby of St. George, Utah; grandchildren: Seven, London, Dallin, Brighten and Holland Brooksby all of St. George, Utah; brother-in-law, Lester (Judy) Buck of Mesa, Arizona; niece, Desta (Eric) Eisenman of Mesa, Arizona; nephew, Kevin (Kassy) Buck of Mesa , Arizona; grand-nieces, Sarah (Tyler), Katie (Zach) and Brandy; grand- nephews, Noah and Brian. Memorial services will be held 11:00 A.M. Saturday, July 7, 2013 at the Downtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 N. 11th Street, Show Low, Arizona. Private inurnment will take place at the Adair Cemetery in Show Low.
