Roman Delfino Barrozo, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona peacefully passed away with his daughter by his side on June 10,2013 at his home in Show Low. He was 74. Roman was born on June 13, 1938 to the late Roman Guerrero and Consuelo Maria (Martinez)Barrozo in Ventura, Ventura County, California. A very hard worker Roman began picking oranges at the age of 14 in Santa Paula, California. He later worked as a cement mason pouring concrete with the local 585 where he poured a lot of driveways. He then moved to Show Low where he also worked as a cement mason. A happy-go-lucky person he had a great sense of humor. He loved fishing, driving and an occasional smoke. An animal lover at heart he had a special place for dogs of all kinds. Roman was a friend to all and would give anyone the shirt of his back. He will be deeply missed by all his friends and family. Roman was survived by his children, Diana Barrozo of Filmore, California, Ramon Barrozo of Santa Paula, California, Gilbert Barrozo of Santa Paula, California, Irma Bentley of Show Low, Arizona, Janet Barrozo of Redding, California and Rosie Laturno of California; sisters, Ester (Tony) Medrano of 29 Palms, California, Helen (Abe) Moreno of Santa Paula, California and Linda Barrozo also of Santa Paula. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Barrozo Filmore. Memorial services will be held at a later date in California.
