Robert Joseph "Bob" Germone died Tuesday night, May 28, 2013 at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona from complications of kidney failure. He was 70 years old. Bob was born on February 3, 1943 in Sebastopol, Sonoma County, California to his parents, the late Louis and Olga (Poli) Germone. Bob graduated from Analy High School in Sebastopol and later earned an Associate's Degree. In 1979 he moved to Arizona and spent many years as a Little League coach in The Valley. He met his wife, Nancy, and they wed on March 10, 1979. The couple lived in Scottsdale for 22 years before moving to the White Mountains 12 years ago. Bob was an avid fisherman and bowler. He loved being outdoors and always appreciated a good hunt. He was an avid sportsman and was a great fan of the Arizona Diamondbacks. Bob owned and operated Bob's Fishing Service in the White Mountains. Over the years, he entertained hundreds of children as he took them and taught them how to fish. Bob is survived by his wife, Nancy Germone of Pinetop, Arizona; 4 children: Kelly (Christine) Baggs of Scottsdale, Arizona, Kevin (Shawna) Baggs of Gilbert, Arizona, J.T. (Amber) Baggs of San Clemente, California, Shawn (Trisha) Baggs of Chandler, Arizona; 15 grandchildren; a brother, Ronald L. Germone of Sebastopol, California and a sister, Denise Germone of Sebastopol, California. A special memorial service for Bob will begin 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street in Show Low, Arizona. Memorial contributions in his name, to The Humane Society of the White Mountains P.O. Box 909 Lakeside, Arizona 85929 have been suggested by his family.
