Louis M. Erickson

Louis M. Erickson, 93 of Pinetop, Arizona died April 25, 2013. He was born July 9, 1919 to Christian and Emma (Larson) Erickson in Osage, Iowa. Louis grew up in Rothsay, Minnesota. He served in the U.S. Army during WWII and was awarded a Battle Star. He married Inga Paulson in 1947 and together they lived and farmed for 10 years in Minnesota, 13 years in Illinois and then moved to Pinetop, Arizona in 1968 where he spent the rest of his life. He logged until he retired in 1979. Louis loved fishing and camping with his girls every chance he got. He will be missed by all that knew and loved him. Louis is survived by his wife, Inga Erickson (Paulson); 5 children: Ginger (Bob) Bowsher, Bonnie Erickson, Peggy (Buddy) Delbridge, Janet (Danny) Childers, Annette (Joe) Childers; 13 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren as well as sisters; Hilda Stinebough and Dagney Nelson. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Judy Downing; his parents, Christian and Emma Erickson; his sisters, Ellen and Edna Grunewald and a brother Glenn Erickson.
