Dynomia Lynn Kay, of Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, April 10, 2013, at her home in Show Low. She was 61. Deno was born in McNary, Apache County, Arizona to RC and Nella (Allen) McCarley on August 4, 1951. Deno was a native of the White Mountains and enjoyed the beauty the outdoors held. She married the love of her life, Donald Scott Kay, on October 10, 1970 in Show Low and shortly after their marriage they traveled to many foreign places for nearly six years while Scott served in the military. During their travels they had three beautiful girls that brought so much joy into their family. Following Scott's time in the military they moved back to Show Low and opened Scott Kay Auto Sales, a business they were very proud of. An avid sports fan she loved to bowl and play golf. She was very competitive and competed as much as possible. Deno was very knowledgeable about the game of baseball and could tell you as much as anyone, if not more, about many of the teams and players. She also enjoyed watching her only grandson, Tyler, play baseball where she always beamed with pride at his many accomplishments and achievements. Family was her life and she enjoyed the many memories that she made with not only her children but also her grandchildren. A very unselfish person, she was always worried about her family, which was evident even till the end. A loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend she will be truly missed. Deno is survived by her loving husband, Scott of Show Low, Arizona; daughters, Stephanie (Brian) Clinton of Prescott, Arizona, Shelly (Brett Hall) Kay of Show Low, Arizona, Sherry (Jerrod Amator) Nikolaus of Show Low, Arizona; special ex-son-in-laws, Russell Adams of Show Low, Arizona and Scott Nikolaus of Show Low, Arizona; grandchildren, Tyler, Meghan, Skylor, Peyton, Paige, Brailee, Jaidyn, Kacie, Kynlee, Landree; mother, Nella Egnor of Show Low, Arizona; brothers, Tadd, Mar and Bob McCarley all of Show Low, Arizona; sister, Vonnell (Fred) Lang of Alpine, Arizona. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Monday, April 15, 2013 at the Show Low Downtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 300 N. 11th Street, Show Low, Arizona with a visitation from 6:00-8:00 P.M. Sunday evening April 14, 2013 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low and 1 hour prior to services at the Downtown Chapel. Interment will take place in the Show Low Cemetery in Show Low.
