Evelyn Velida Liebelt, of Taylor, Navajo County, Arizona peacefully passed away on March 27, 2013 at her home in Taylor. She was 95. Evelyn was one of six children born to Norwegian Immigrants Carl and Thea (Nilsen) Loken on May 23, 1921 in Brown Township, North Dakota. She grew up and attended school in North Dakota. Evelyn married Erven Liebelt at a State Fair in Minot, North Dakota. Together they had two children Kenneth and Sharon. She lived in California for nearly 50 years before moving to Taylor to live with her daughter, Sharon. Evelyn loved the Senior Center in Snowflake where she met many friends and loved to play games with them. Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Sharon and Robert Devin of Taylor, Arizona; son, Kenneth Liebelt of Washington; 20 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and a sister, Helen Peterson of Oregon. Evelyn was buried in Westminster, California next to her husband, Erven who preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her 2 brothers and 3 sisters. Memorial services will be held 12:30 PM Saturday, May 4, 2013 at the Silver Creek Senior Center, 1658 S. Main, Snowflake, Arizona 85937
