Barbara Groenendijk

Barbara Groenendijk of Show Low, Arizona passed away on Thursday, March 14th, 2013. She was born December 3, 1966 in Australia. Barbara had many passions from working with special needs children, all animals, gardening to all outdoor activities. She loved hiking with her mom and staying up till all hours of the night hearing her stories. Her positive energy, love of life, knowledge and humor touched many individuals. Barbara leaves behind her mother, Erika Zelenka, of Show Low, Arizona; niece, Emma Ashley Parbery and brother-in-law, Stewart Parbery of Charlotte, North Carolina and her many friends who loved her. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, March 31, 2013 at 4:00pm on the Rim Trail. In tribute to Barbara's love of working with special needs children memorials can be made in Barbara's name to Camp Tatiyee, www.arizonalionscamp.org.
