John Henry Williams

February 11, 1934 — March 14, 2013

John Henry was born February 11, 1934 in Bennington, Oklahoma and went home to the Lord on March 14, 2013. He was the son of Henry Clay and Carrie Alice Williams. The last of 17 children, John Henry graduated from Snowflake High School in 1952. From the graduation ceremony he immediately went into military service where he served valiantly for just over 20 years, retiring as a Chief Warrant Officer 2. He is survived by his wife of 26 years, Ann Marie Williams of ShowLow, Az,; and his children of a previous marriage to Janice Olson-Galvaz; sons John T. of Colorado and Jeff D. Williams of Phoenix ; a daughter, Terri Michael Williams of Mo.; step children; Brenda Doro of Ga., Cynthia Burnash (deceased), Laurie Agan of NY, Skip Burnash of NH, and Kelly Soly of Fl.; aswell as 11 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Service will be held 12 Noon at the Burton Baptist Church, March 19, 2012. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that comparable donations be made in John Henrys name to Arizona Baptist Children's Services 1016 S. Main Street, Snowflake, Arizona 85937 or the Tucson location at 1779 N. Alvernon Way, Tucson, Arizona 85712 and / or The Wounded Veterans Association at P.O. Box 78517, Topeka, Kansas 66675.
