Elijo Grant Hill, 16, of Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona suddenly passed away on February 2, 2013 at his home in Whiteriver. Elijo was born to Harley Hill and Jodi Quay in Whiteriver on March 1, 1996. An avid sports fan, Elijo loved to play softball, football and especially basketball. He was often remembered with a basketball in tow wherever he went. He also enjoyed the outdoors and especially camping and fishing. Elijo was a sophomore at Alchesay High School where he had many friends whom will miss him dearly but none more than by those of his own family. He is survived by his parents, Harley Hill and Jodi Quay; legal guardians, Genevieve Lupe and Ernie West; grandparents, Marie and Slim Quay; grandfather, Harlan Hill Sr.; brothers, Aceyo Hill, Jesus Shane Burnette, Jason McHenry, Fenando Barajos, Raymond Lupe Sr., Robert Lupe Jr.; sisters, Heatheray Gushoney, Kinesha Hill, Loretta Garcia and Garilynn Kasey as well as many aunts, uncles, family members and friends. A two night wake will begin 10:00AM Friday, February 8, 2013 at his home, 2406 N Falcon Ave, Whiteriver, Arizona. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Sunday, February 10, 2013 at the Canyon Day Miracle Church in Canyon Day with burial to follow in the Morning Dove Cemetery in Cedar Creek, Arizona.
