Glenn Harvey went on to join Our Heavenly Father Friday morning, December 14, 2012 at the Whiteriver Indian Hospital in Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona following a lengthy illness. He was 67 years old. Glenn was born in Whiteriver on November 9, 1945 to his parents, the late Brezzy, Sr. and Roberta (Clawson) Harvey. Glenn was naturally a people person and enjoyed caring for the needs of others. He worked, and retired after 22 years of dedicated service, for the Whiteriver School District as the facilities director. Many knew his friendly and familiar face and counted on his professionalism to care for the schools within the Whiteriver School District. He, too, heard another call and became an ordained minister at East Fork Riverside Church. He served faithfully in that capacity for many years and everyone trusted him for his sincere kindness. He loved the Lord with all of his heart and his family finds a great deal of peace knowing that he is resting in the bosom of his Maker. Pastor Glenn Harvey is survived by his wife of 46 years, Yolanda Sue (Classay) Harvey; 1 son, Darrell Harvey; 2 daughters: Glenda "Lemon" Harvey-Nez, Ginger Harvey-Young; 8 grandchildren: Darrilyn Kay Harvey, Jerrison Glenn-Wilson George, Kayannon Tashi George, Diayne Mable Harvey, Brennae Lynn Butterfield, Gavin Kenny Butterfield, Eva Ruby Young, Ian Farrell Young; 8 Godchildren; 3 step-brothers and 4 step-sisters. Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 sons: Kenny Stanton Harvey and Baby Harvey.
