Dorothy K. Hutchinson

Dorothy K. Hutchinson died during the early morning hours of Friday, December 7, 2012 at Solterra Senior Living in Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona. She was 90 years old. Dorothy was born October 4, 1922 in Akron, Summit County, Ohio to her parents, the late John Earl and Elva Ruth (Custer) Kohler. Dorothy lived in Akron until she married her life's love, Bernard "Hutch" Hutchinson. The couple lived many years in nearby Pennsylvania where Dorothy was a loving wife and devoted mother. In her later years, Dorothy and Hutch moved to Sun Lakes, Arizona. She called Sun Lakes "home" for 25 years. Dorothy appreciated the diverse beauty of Arizona and found the White Mountains to be a peaceful retreat from the busy world. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Carole S. Mortensen of Concho, Arizona. At this time, no public services are planned.
