Duane "Sluggo" Quesada died Saturday, November 18, 2012 at his home in Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona. He was 37 years old. Sluggo was born July 1, 1975 in Whiteriver, Arizona to his parents, Manuel and Carol M. (Griggs) Quesada. Duane loved his children more than anything else! He loved to spend his time fishing at Reservation Lake. Sluggo enjoyed cooking meals for everyone. He especially loved children. Duane was a man who was very caring and was always helping others and, in spite of that, he loved to tease people. Sluggo was a jack of all trades and could do just about anything that was asked of him. He is survived by his wife: Carla, 2 children; Dequan Quesada, Ericka Quesada; 3 brothers: Gary Gregg, Marty Quesada, Kistler Griggs and is also survived by his parents Carol and Manuel. A 2 day wake will begin 10:00 A.M, Saturday, November 24, 2012 at the family home in Whiteriver, Arizona. The funeral will begin 10:00 A.M., Monday, November 26, 2012 at the North Fork Miracle Church. The concluding service and interment will immediately follow at the Morning Dove Cemetery in East Fork. Services are being cared for by Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel in Show Low.
