Charles Stein, Jr.

Charles "Chuck" Stein Jr, went to be with the Lord on November 6, 2012, after a long illness in Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona. He was 73. Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Rowene (Skousen) Stein and he is survived by his wife, Brenda Stein of Show Low, Arizona; daughter, Laurel (Joel) Bishop of Quincy, California; son Eric Stein of Cathedral City, California; step-daughter, Rauni Tedrick of Show Low, Arizona; brother, Dan Stein of Hawthorne, California; sister, Rowene Stein of Salt Lake City, Utah and 2 grandchildren. Chuck lived in Show Low for the past 20 years after a illustrious 30 year career in law enforcement at the Inglewood Police Department, Inglewood, California and retired with the rank of Detective. Chuck's passions were fishing, hunting, woodworking, gunsmithing and gardening. His gardening abilities produced prize pumpkins. He belonged to the Ole West Shootist Club. He served in the United States Army and was called up for the Korean Conflict. Chuck was loved and will be sorely missed by his family and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Monday, November 19, 2012 at the Linden Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 971 Timberland Road, Show Low (Linden), Arizona with a visitation one hour prior to the services. Interment will follow in the Burton Cemetery in Burton, Arizona.
