Jerramie Jacob "Jake" Turner died unexpectedly on Monday, October 29, 2012 at his home in Cromwell, Noble County, Indiana. He was 38 years old. Jake was born on May 15, 1974 to his parents, Delbert James "Jim" Turner and the late Sandra Kaye (Miller) Turner in West Covina, Los Angeles County, California. Jake, due to a disability, was unable to work throughout his life, but he always spent his time in productive and positive ways. He was an avid reader and loved to read a good book and learn about new things. He also was blessed with a beautiful singing voice and thoroughly enjoyed to sing karaoke with family and friends whenever the opportunity presented itself. Jake had a special gift when it came to children. He was an exceptional friend to them and especially enjoyed caring for young ones. He was greatly loved by all of his nieces and nephews and they will miss him tremendously. Jake was also blessed with an incredible sense of humor and was always quick to crack a joke to break any tension in the air and make everyone feel immediately at ease and comfortable. He loved to travel around the country and within the states that he lived. He was a very social individual and simply loved the company of others and could frequently be found engaged in pleasant conversation with them. He loved people and they loved him. In recent years, Jake settled down with his girlfriend, Michelle Lucas, whom will miss his companionship and friendship very much. In addition to his girlfriend, Michelle, Jake is survived by his father, Jim Turner and step-mother, Kay Turner; 2 brothers: James Corey, Zachary; 3 sisters: Dani Elizabeth, Miranda and Michelle and is also survived by his nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Sandra Kaye (Miller) Turner. The public visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M., Thursday, November 8, 2012 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - Heritage Chapel, 84 E. 19th South in Snowflake, Arizona. The graveside service and interment will begin 11:00 A.M., Friday, November 9, 2012 at the Middle Verde Cemetery in Camp Verde, Arizona.
