Dominique Von Lawson, age 20, passed away Friday October 19, 2012 in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was born April 27, 1992 in Whiteriver, Arizona to Leon David Lawson Sr. and Samantha Johnson. He loved to play basketball and softball; he was always carrying a basketball with him. Dominique loved to go camping, fishing and hunting. He absolutely loved to spend time with his 2 daughters. He was a very outgoing and friendly person who loved to spend time hanging out with his friends and cousins. Dominique is survived by his daughters, Kenaya Vonique Lawson and Jayani Ruby Lawson; his companion, Rolanda Clay; parents, Leon Lawson Sr. and Laura Lawson; mother, Samantha Johnson; grandmothers, Norma Lupe, Sandra Altaha, Azlie Lupe and Joyce Wallen; grandfather, Logan Lawson Sr.; great grandmothers, Rose N. Lupe and Eunice Tessler; brothers, Leon Lawson Jr., Keon Lawson, Leondro Lawson, Leron Lawson, Duwon Hardrick and Jaqwon Lupe; sisters, Karmalita Lawson, Kimaura Lawson and Kandle Pina; uncles, Dion Lawson, Logan Lawson Jr., Alias Johnson, Donovan Johnson and Shawn Cooya and other relatives, cousins and friends. A 2 day wake will begin at 10:00 A.M. Saturday, October 27th at the family residence in Cibecue at 10 No. Electric Dr. The Funeral Service will be at 1:00 P.M. on Monday October 29th at the Cibecue Cottonwood Gym. The concluding services and interment will follow at the Lupe Family Plot in Cibecue under direction of Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low, Arizona.
