Donna Louise Donn, of Concho, Apache County, Arizona peacefully passed away on September 2, 2012 at Summit Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona. She was 85. Donna was born on May 28, 1927 in Nebraska City, Otoe County, Nebraska to the late John and Lillian (Gallant) Huey. Donna worked as a beautician in Omaha Nebraska for many years. A tremendously talented artist, she loved to paint and make her own jewelry. She loved to travel and in 1996 she organized the Western Iowa/ Eastern Nebraska Chapter of the Loners on Wheels. A feat that took copious amounts of paperwork and hard work. She became a full time RVer in 2005 and loved to travel throughout the state of Arizona. While RVing, she spent time in Yuma, Quartzsite, Tucson and the White Mountains. She most recently spent her time in Concho. Donna loved to play the spoons and enjoyed playing in conjunction with Norman, David and Linda at the Sugar Shack in Concho and the Senior Center in St. Johns. Many will miss the sweet music that they made when collaborating together. She is survived by her children, Cheri Moritz, Thomas Moritz and Rickey (Rosemary) Donn; 6 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren and 2 brothers, Dean Huey and Richard Huey. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lyle Donn and 2 sisters, Rosemary Satler and Mrade Huey. Private services are planned.
