James Larry Gilbert

James Larry Gilbert, age 64, passed away Monday July 23, 2012 in Show Low, Az. He was born Feb. 21, 1948 in Pittsburg, Tennessee. Jim served two tours of duty in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He earned his living as a firefighter in Orange, CA and Sun Valley, AZ. He was an avid collector of Model cars, especially anything vintage or classic. He is survived by his wife, Patricia DeAtley of Sun Valley, Az.; His children: Marty, Nicole, Teddy, Michael & Joseph; and a brother, George Walker. A public viewing will be held on Friday, July 27, 2012 from 6-8 at Owens-Livingston Mortuary in Holbrook, Arizona. Cremation will then follow the visitation. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Holbrook handled the arrangements.
