Robert Nunes

Robert Laurence Nunes, 69, loving and devoted husband and father, died unexpectedly on Sunday, July 1, at his home in Overgaard, Arizona. He was born on October 30, 1942, in Orland, California to Betty and Frank. He moved to Arizona more than 30 years ago where he worked as a marriage and family counselor. He was active in the LDS Church. He is survived by his wife, Kathryn (Bateman) Nunes, to whom he was married for 35 years. Other survivors include his children Riesa Nunes, Traci Ayre (John), Matthew Nunes (Britani), Marc Nunes (Emily), Christopher Nunes (Sharisse); 17 grandchildren, and one great-grandchild; sister, Linda Nunes. He was preceded in death by two children; Jeremy and Jillian. Memorial services will be at 10:00 AM Thursday, at the LDS Stewart Stake Center, 613 N. Stewart, Mesa, Arizona.
