Roger Ward Frost, of Pinetop, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on Sunday June 17, 2012 at the Little Colorado Medical Center in Winslow, Navajo County, Arizona. He was 61. Roger was born to the late Druce and Lydia (Penrod) Frost on March 26, 1951 in San Diego, San Diego County, California. Roger married the love of his life, Lu Anne Durney, on July 15, 1978 at his parent's home in Lakeside, Arizona and they enjoyed nearly 34 wonderful years of marriage before his passing. An avid golfer Roger loved to hit the links. He found much joy in the game and enjoyed spending time with his friends throughout the many courses found in the beautiful White Mountains. Throughout his life he worked as a carpenter for various companies in the area. He loved working with his hands and enjoyed seeing the finished project. A loving husband, father, grandfather and friend he will truly be missed. He is survived by his loving wife, Lu Anne Frost of Pinetop, Arizona; a wonderful daughter, Melissa (Jason) Glinzak of Payson, Arizona; grandchildren, Tylar Anne, J.W. and Lane all of Payson, Arizona; 6 brothers, Ron Frost of Corvallis, Oregon, Ardel Frost of Lakeside, Arizona, Scott (Mary) Frost of Rio Rancho, New Mexico, Darwin (Cathy) Frost of Midland, Texas, Eldon (Tammy) Frost of Tucson, Arizona, Bob (Carole) Sippel of San Jose, California; 2 sisters, Lonnie (Skip) Vaughan of Sahuarita, Arizona, Pam (Bob) McQueen of Spring Valley, California as well as his constant companion "Bandit". Private services are planned. In lieu of flowers the family has asked that donations be made to the Humane Society of the White Mountains, P.O. Box 909, Lakeside, Arizona 85929.
