Alex Pedro Tessay

Alex Pedro Tessay, age 25, passed away Thursday, May 10, 2012 in Cibecue, Arizona. He was born February 18, 1987 in Show Low, Arizona to Fernando Thompson and Roma Jean Tessay. First and foremost, Alex loved his Savior Jesus Christ. He was an avid lover of sports, especially basketball and football. One of his favorite past times was fishing. Alex enjoyed running, rafting and snowboarding. He loved his niece and especially his mother and being at his grandparents home. Alex is survived by his parents: Roma Tessay and Fernando Thompson, Sr.; brother, Fernando "Casper" Thompson Jr.; sister, Velita Thompson; niece, Marlee Thompson; grandparents; Chester and Jewel Tessay; 3 aunts, Neva Tessay, Roberta Tessay and Juliet Henry; uncle, Vernon Tessay, Sr. A 2 day wake will begin at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, May 17, 2012 at the family residence in Cibecue. The funeral service will begin 8:00 A.M, Saturday, May 19, 2012 at the Cibecue Branch Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Cibecue. Burial will follow at the Shadow Mountain Cemetery. Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel of Show Low cared for the arrangements.
