Dennis Lee Watson died just before the sunrise of Friday, April 27, 2012 at Angel Wings Assisted Living in Vernon, Arizona following a lengthy illness. He was 71 years old. Dennis was born on September 29, 1940 in Redlands, San Bernardino County, California to the late LeRoy Watson and his mother, Louise Virginia (Wilcox) Watson. For more than 35 years, Dennis worked for Lazy Boy Furniture in Redlands, California and was well-liked by all of his co-workers. He was a loyal employee and his bosses always appreciated his honesty, integrity and incredible work ethic. He was willing to do any task asked of him and he always did it with a smile on his face. Dennis was a loving brother to his brothers and sister and will be missed greatly by everyone of them. Dennis moved to Vernon, Arizona from his native California 6-1/2 years ago and has loved every moment of it. He truly enjoyed living in the country and found the area to be very peaceful and relaxing. It was his home and found nothing but good people in his community. Dennis is survived by his mother: Louise Gregory of Redlands, California; 2 brothers: Gary (Pam) Watson of Vernon, Arizona, D. Bruce (Patti) Watson of Redlands, California and by 1 sister, Judi Watson of Austin, Texas. Dennis is also survived by his beloved dog, "Bear", who was the best companion of the four-legged type that anyone could ever hope for. Bear is wondering just exactly when Dennis will be back home to pat his head and scratch his head. Private family services will be held. Dennis' brother, Gary and his wife, Pam, would like to send a special "Thank-You" to the staff of Angel Wings Assisted Living for the excellent and loving care they gave their dear brother. They are most grateful.
