Emmerson Kasey, of Upper East Fork, Navajo County, Arizona passed away on April 21, 2012 in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona. He was 61. Emmerson was born to Wren and Lenora (Baha) Kasey on August 24, 1950 in Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona. A Veteran of the United States Army he served during Vietnam before being Honorably Discharged. Emmerson was proud of his service and was a member of the American Legion Post #60 in Whiteriver, Arizona as well as the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post #2364 in Pinetop, Arizona. A loving father, grandpa, son, brother and friend he never met a stranger and will be deeply missed by all. A great story-teller he loved to hunt and fish, but nothing compared to the time that he spent with his grandkids. He is survived by his children, Gail, Gary, Gwyn, Germaine and Gregg Kasey; a son-in-law, Lenwood B. Lee; 14 grandchildren; 1 great-grandchild; mother, Lenora Kasey; 3 sisters; 1 brother; 2 brother-in-laws and his companion, Orita Billy. He was preceded in death by his father, Wren Kasey and a sister, Annette Kasey. A one night wake will begin at 9:00AM Wednesday April 25, 2012 at the home of Lenora Kasey, 4713 North 2nd Street, North Fork, Arizona. Funeral services will be held at 9:00AM Thursday April 26, 2012 at the Whiteriver Lutheran Church. Burial will be in the Family Plot at the Chiefton Cemetery in North Fork, Arizona.
