Joey Wayne Lyon, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother and friend, passed away Monday, February 13, 2012 in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona. Joey was born January 3, 1957 in Phoenix, Arizona. Joey loved the outdoors, especially camping and fishing. He had a passion for building things with his hands. Joey's true loves were his wife of 35 years Raylea and his children. He was a true family man who enjoyed traveling anywhere at anytime. He is survived by: his wife, Raylea; 7 children: Nellie Castro of Arkansas, Jody Pagliocco of Maine, Joey Lyon of Mesa, Arizona, Robert Lyon of Boston, Massachusetts, Adam Asay of Peoria, Arizona, Michael Lyon of Pinetop, Arizona, Corey Lyon of Maine; 13 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 4 sisters: Brenda Katis of Litchfield Park, Arizona, Betty Toner of Peoria, Arizona, Becky Lyon of Phoenix, Arizona, Eva Jo Rios of Willcox, Arizona; his mother, Jerlean Lyon of Sun City, Arizona and his father, Joseph Chambers of Willcox, Arizona.
