Albert Montoya

Albert Montoya, age 65, passed away Thursday, February 9, 2012 in Flagstaff, Arizona. He was born on March 14, 1946 in Gallup, New Mexico to Felix J. Montoya and Mary Inez Hernandez Montoya. Albert loved to cook for others. He also enjoyed doing all kinds of leatherwork. He was always fascinated with eagles. Albert enjoyed being with his family. He is survived by 6 children: Cliford Montoya of Phoenix, Arizona, Irving Montoya of Greasewood, Arizona, Susan Montoya of Phoenix, Arizona, Theresa Montoya of Chinlee, Arizona, Manuel Montoya of Phoenix, Arizona and Albert Montoya Jr. of Holbrook, Arizona; 7 brothers and sisters: Felix Montoya of Show Low, Arizona, Johnny Montoya Sr. of Holbrook, Arizona, Eleanor Chavez of Grants, New Mexico, Bernie Montoya of Joseph City, Arizona, Esther Bazan of Holbrook, Arizona, Christine Petzold of Phoenix, Arizona and Ernest Montoya of Dilcon, Arizona and 6 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his daughter Heather; a sister, Esther and his parents. Recitation of the Rosary will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 212 E. Arizona, Holbrook, Arizona. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 A.M. at the church. Burial will take place at the Holbrook Cemetery in Holbrook, Arizona.
