Elroy Daniel "Dan" Bouchard, II died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at his home in Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona of natural causes. He was 71 years old. Dan was a Valentine's Day baby, being born on February 14, 1940 in Minnesota to the late Elroy Daniel and Florence Elizabeth (Nash) Bouchard. As a young man he enlisted in the United States Air Force and, after a few years of faithful dedicated service, received an honorable discharge from the military. Throughout his working career, Dan worked as a communications engineer, retiring just before moving to the White Mountains 4 years ago. Dan was a wonderful father and a very good and kind friend to everyone he met. He knew no strangers. He was a man who was successful at most everything he ever did. He truly loved his pets over the years and Whittie and Buttons are still wondering when he will be home. Dan is survived by: his 2 children: Debbie Schlosser, E. Daniel "Danny" Bouchard, III; 6 grandchildren; a sister, Jackie Ramos and several cousins. Private services are being cared for by Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
