Robert Duwayne "Bobby" Sanders died unexpectedly in the afternoon hours of Sunday, January 22, 2012 at his home in Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona. Bobby was 48 years old. Bobby was born on November 25, 1963 in Springerville, Apache County, Arizona, at the exact moment our nation was laying our beloved president, John F. Kennedy, to rest at Arlington National Cemetery. He was born to his parents, the late Bobbie Dawayne Sanders, who died in 1975, and Sadie Dellie "Sandy" Michael Sanders. Bobby made a good and honest living working as a wrecking truck driver for many years. His family is saddened by his sudden passing and will miss him greatly. Bobby is survived by: his son, McCray Sanders of St. Johns, Arizona; mother, Sadie D. Barnett of Marshall, Texas; 2 grandchildren; a sister, Jeannie Sanders of Shreveport, Louisiana; 3 brothers: Christopher Sanders of San Leandro, California, Teddy Eugene Sanders of Jefferson, Texas, Billie Joe Sanders of West Monroe, Louisiana and an aunt, Jan Leyba of St. Johns, Arizona. At this time no public services are planned but, his family is so grateful for all the thoughts and prayers offered up on their behalf.
