Jeri Lynn O'Dell

Jeri Lynn O'Dell, loving wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, sister and friend passed away at her home in Holbrook, Arizona on January 8, 2012. Jeri was born April 29, 1961 in Amarillo, Texas to Jerry Edward Harris and Betty Lou Toller Harris. She moved to Tucson, Arizona then later came to Holbrook, Arizona with the Becktell Corporation. She graduated from High School in 1978. She met Murry O'Dell, the love of her life in 1980. They were married in 1983 and their daughter Roxanne was born in 1985 and their son Dezmond in 1989. Jeri had a career as a beautician and cosmetologist working for Quick Cuts for several years and later opened her own business out of her home. She had many, many clients/friends; she loved her chosen career. Her pride and joy were her grandchildren. Jeri loved to work in her yard, she loved to travel and she was considered the "center" of her family. She was loved by all who knew her. Jeri is survived y her loving husband, Murry of Holbrook, Arizona; her 2 children: Roxanne Padilla and Dezmond O'Dell both of Holbrook, Arizona; 2 grandchildren: Noah and Isaih Padilla; a sister, Elizabeth (Gary) Cox and a brother, John Harris both of Phoenix, Arizona and her father, Jerry Harris of Phoenix, Arizona. She was preceded in death by her mother, Betty Lou Harris. A Memorial service will be held on Friday, January 13, 2012 at 11:00 AM at the Elks Lodge in Holbrook, Arizona. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Jeri's name at Wells Fargo Bank in Holbrook, Arizona.
