Helen Darlene Burchett

Helen Darlene Burchett, passed away peacefully at her home on January 2, 2012, at the age of 88, with her family by her side. She has resided in Show Low for the past 25 years. She was born May 29, 1923 in Greenup County, Kentucky to James F. and Mary E. Hunter. Helen and her husband, Glen, loved coming to the White Mountains during the summer to escape the heat of Tucson. They enjoyed the cool mountain air, the fishing, and making new friends at the RV sites they stayed in during the summer months. She was preceded in death by her husband, Glen. She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Russell; son, Lonnie (Sue) Burchett; granddaughters, Beth Havens, Lora (Larry) Davidson, Tanna (Mike) Welter, Tracy (Donald) Earl; great-grandchildren, Zachary (Kristin) and their daughter, Hadleigh Havens, Shaelin (Josh) and their son, Cylo Walker, Shelby Welter, Lindsey Earl, Tyler Earl, D.J. (Kaylee) and their sons, Bently and Destin Earl, Chris (Holly) and children Aiden and Marietta Earl as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held 10:00 AM Thursday, January 5, 2012 at Owens Livingston Mortuary~White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th St., Show Low. Interment will follow in the Lakeside Cemetery.
