Bernard Neal Franke, of Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona passed away peacefully Sunday, January 1, 2012 in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. He was 83. Bernard was born on April 5, 1928 in Iowa to the late Herman and Inez (Henderson) Franke. Bernard is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Norma Franke, of Lakeside, Arizona; children, Fritzi (Doug) Dillon of Tucson, Arizona, Rick (Diane) Franke of Tucson, Arizona; step-children, Bill (Ann) Petersen of Clay Springs, Arizona, Andrew (Anita) Petersen of Mesa, Arizona, Charles Petersen of Gilmer, Texas, Jack (Mary) Petersen of Richfield, Utah as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Memorial services will be held at a later date.
