Chester Taylor Morris, age 86, passed away Thursday, December 22, 2011 in Pinetop, Arizona. He was born July 13, 1925 in Indian Wells, Arizona to Tsi Cody Ni Bega and Yegehnabah Bega. Chester served in the U.S. Army during World War II from 1943 to 1945. He was a rancher and loved to travel. Chester worked for the Navajo Nation in the Community Alcoholism Program and as a former chapter official in Indian Wells. He worked for the Local #383 Labor Union and was a member of the American Legion. He is survived by his brother: Willie Morris Sr. of Dilkon, Arizona and Carlos T. Morris of Indian Wells, Arizona. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Preceded in death by his wife, Pansy Morris on July 5, 1996. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 28, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at the Holbrook Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1127 Helen Ave. Holbrook, Arizona, with a viewing at 9:00 A.M. Burial will be at the Holbrook Cemetery with Military Honors.
