Our dearly beloved father, grandpa, great-grandpa, great-great-grandpa, brother, uncle, and friend, Francis Antonio, age 84, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 at Whiteriver Indian Hospital in Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona. He was born on November 15, 1927 in Cedar Creek, Arizona to the late Max and Bessie Antonio. The oldest of five children. Francis worked at and retired from the BIA, Bureau of Land Operations. He then worked with the Cedar Creek Cattle Association in assisting in managing the cattle herd and constructing many miles of fence on behalf of the association. Working was his first love. Francis is survived by his son, Richard Antonio; daughters, Lela (Robert) Lacapa, Barbara (Lloyd) Goklish, Veronica Antonio, Beverly (Emery) Jackson, Mercy Antonio, Regina (Leon) Cosay, Karen (Bradley, Sr.) Clarkson, Leenette (Elton, Sr.) Thompson, Emerly Antonio; sisters, Mable Boni, Ingrid Palmer, Evelyn Antonio; 26 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 5 great-great-grandchildren; many cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Betty Antonio; daughters, Velva Paxson and Phoebe Antonio; sons, Rocky Antonio, Davis Antonio; granddaughter, Verlynn "Lou" Fall; great-granddaughter, Larnell Quintero; brother, Tommy Antonio. The public wake will begin 10:00 A.M., Friday, December 9, 2011 at the Antonio Family Residence, 109 Middle Street in Canyon Day, Arizona. His funeral service will begin 1:00 P.M., Saturday, December 10, 2011 at the Canyon Day Assembly of God Church in Canyon Day. Interment will follow in the Canyon Day Cemetery, Canyon Day, Arizona.
