Rebecca Bell

April 8, 1959 — November 24, 2011

After a short but courageous battle with cancer, Rebecca Bell passed away peacefully on November 24, 2011, surrounded by her loved ones. Rebecca was born on April 8, 1959 in St. Johns, Arizona to Manuel and Ana Maria Nava. She spent her early years in Round Valley before moving with her family to Globe, Arizona. With her friendly smile, kind demeanor, and generous spirit, she endeared herself to many. Rebecca loved her children, grandchildren and extended family. She was a beloved mother, an amazing sister and devoted friend and will be deeply missed and loving remembered. Rebecca loved spending time with her family, decorating her home, going on road trips and talking with her friends. One of her happiest moments towards the end of her life was rejoining her family as one of Jehovah's Witnesses. As a Witness Rebecca fell asleep in death with the hope of being resurrected to a Paradise Earth and being joyously reunited with her loved ones. Rebecca is survived by her sons: Joshua (Anika) Bell, Zachary Bell, Seth (Rose) Bell, Ian Bell and daughter, Jessica Bell (Aaron Roark), her grandchildren: Mia, Ryan, Lillian, Amber and Aubrey Roark, and Shayne Bell. She is also survived by her sisters, Elizabeth (Terry) Pollock, Rachel Nava (Richard Ward), Ruth (David) Baker and many nieces and nephews along with countless other friends and family whom are grateful to have known her. She was preceded in death by her parents, Manuel and Ana Marie Nava and two infant brothers. A memorial service will take place at 3:00 P.M. Friday, December 2, 2011 at Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel, 320 N. 9th Street, Show Low, Arizona. (Revelations 21:3-4) With that I heard a loud voice from the throne say: "Look! The tent of God is with mankind, and he will reside with them, and they will be his peoples. And God himself will be with them. And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away." Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
