Howard Junior Bennett

Howard Junior Bennett, loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 in Scottsdale, Maricopa County, Arizona at the age of 86. He was born to Harvey and Bernice Beatrice (Mikesell) Bennett on May 3, 1925 in Muscatine, Muscatine County, Iowa. Howard served in the United States Army during World War II and received a Purple Heart. He loved to fish, camp, take care of his animals and to be at home spending time with his family. Howard is survived by his wife: Rosemary Bennett of Show Low, Arizona; children, Connie Bennett of Show Low, Arizona, Cozy (Jack) Peters of Grand Mound, Iowa and Kevin Bennett of Concho, Arizona; 5 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. Memorial Services will be held at 3:30 P.M. Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at the family residence - 341 North 4th Avenue in Show Low.
