Beloved son, father, brother and friend, Richard Dale McNabb, passed away September 23, 2011 in Phoenix, Arizona. He was born May 19, 1970 in Winslow, Arizona to Theodore Douglas McNabb and Carolyn Mae McDaniel McNabb. Richard graduated from Holbrook High School in 1988. He worked at Safeway for Bob Burton and for Tate's. He then went on to serve in the U.S. Army in Operation Just Cause in Panama and also served in South Korea. He was very proud of his military service. Richard loved poetry, music and photography. He was also very proud that he was a published writer. Richards friends were a very important part of his life. He is survived by his 2 children: Alicia McNabb and Jonathan Cullison, both of Holbrook, Arizona; his parents: Carolyn Baldwin of Camano Island, Washington and Theodore McNabb of Holbrook, Arizona; 2 brothers: Jeff McNabb of Spring, Texas and Doug McNabb of Mesa, Arizona and a sister: Michele McNabb of Camano Island, Washington. He was preceded in death by 2 grandfathers: Tillman McDaniel and Ted McNabb; an uncle: Harvey Wayne McDaniel and a great grandmother: Pauline Gannon "Big Ma". A visitation will be held Thursday, September 29, 2011 from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Owens Livingston Mortuary Holbrook. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 30, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. at the American Legion Hall, 290 E. Iowa Street in Holbrook, Arizona. Burial will follow at the Holbrook Cemetery with Military Honors.
