Harold Lewis Shortt

Harold Lewis Shortt, age 88, passed away Monday, August 15, 2011 in Vernon, Arizona surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 23, 1922 in Highwoods, New York to Richard George and Myrtle Alice (York) Shortt. Harold was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He is survived by his wife, Marie of Vernon, Arizona; 2 sons, Randy (Susan) Shortt of Vernon, Arizona, Dale Shortt of Pinetop, Arizona; 2 sisters, Ethel Donaldson of Highwoods, New York, Dorothy (Max) Hoffman of Zena, New York; 2 grandchildren, Kellie Shortt of Phoenix and Justin Shortt of Spokane, Washington. Harold is preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Leroy Donaldson. Graveside services and Committal will be held 3:00 p.m. Saturday, August 27, 2011 at St. Mary's of The Snow Cemetery in Saurgerties, New York. Donations may be made in Harold's name to the American Cancer Society 403 N Agassiz Suite 1 Flagstaff, Arizona 86001. Owens Livingston Mortuary of Show Low handled the arrangements.
