Wanda Kay Dale

Wanda Kay Dale, of Whiteriver, Navajo County, Arizona entered eternal rest Saturday July 16, 2011 in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona at the age of 61. Wanda was born August 19, 1949 in Whiteriver, Arizona to Ralph and Angela (Sanchez) Moody. A wonderful homemaker she loved to cook and made the best tamale pie anyone ever tasted. She loved to take care of her many family members and was affectionately known as "Nanny" to all. She enjoyed doing yard work and spent many days working around the house. She also enjoyed doing many different crafts and was very skilled at bead work and crocheting. She also enjoyed collecting many things but mostly she collected angels. A wonderful Christian lady she had a great sense of humor. She loved to joke around with her many friends. Wanda enjoyed going to her church, Canyon Day Lighthouse Church, where she was often seen reading her bible and singing in the choir. She is survived by her husband, Martin Dale; a son, Marlin Dale; daughters, Marlita Dale and Lovetta Hopper; a brother, Vernon Moody; nieces, Velda Todachine, Verlaine Kescoli, Stephanie Moody, Tanya Clawson; nephews, Vermell Kescoli, Verdell Kescoli, Marwin Moody; Godsons, Steven Caddo, Shane Begay; cousins, Mary Lou Tenijieth, Jennie Burnette, Vino Burnette, Sr. A two night wake will begin 1:00PM Sunday July 24, 2011 at the home of Martin Dale, 3200 East Fork Road, East Fork, Arizona. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Tuesday July 26, 2011 at the House of God Church in East Fork, Arizona with Pastor Reno Johnson, Sr. officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot in East Fork, Arizona.
