Earlene Ellsworth Cole was born on July 3, 1919 in Show Low, Navajo County, Arizona and was called home the day after her 92nd birthday on July 4, 2011, in Kingman, Mohave County, Arizona. She had waited a long time, in very poor health, to be with her loved ones again. Earlene was happiest when she was helping others and her life was spent doing so. She was a gifted cosmetologist and had even opened her first shop when she was barely out of high school. She loved to write and was artistic in so many ways. She was also an accomplished seamstress. During WWII, she joined the U.S. Army, and felt honored to serve her country. She raised two daughters and did all she could to be a good mother. Earlene is survived by her 2 daughters: Roxie Marolf (Ron) of Kingman, Arizona, Mary Ann Buzzard (Wayne) of Florida; 4 grandchildren: K. Malaine Bargo, Jana Quesenberry, Todd Marolf, Deborah Buzzard; 10 great-grandchildren; 1 brother, Orval Ellsworth (Verna) and is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by: her grandson, Gregory Buzzard, 5 siblings: Marjorie McLaws, Kenneth Ellsworth, Roxie Ellsworth, Mary Cluff, Mitzi Lessman as well as her parents, Wallace and Lydia Ann (Rhoton) Ellsworth. Her sweet countenance will be missed by all who love her and have been left behind, but are at peace knowing she is with loved ones who have gone before and are greatly missed, and especially that she is with her Savior, Jesus Christ. Earlene's funeral will begin 1:00 P.M., Saturday, July 16, 2011 at the Downtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 N. 11th Street in Show Low, Arizona where the visitation will begin 1 hour prior. The concluding service, with military honors, will follow at the Show Low Cemetery where she will be laid to rest in the Ellsworth family plot.
