Jesse James Paulsell, age 75, went to his eternal home on June 27, 2011 in Mesa, Maricopa County, Arizona. He was born on September 18, 1935 in Holbrook, Navajo County, Arizona. Jesse spent his childhood on the family ranch in Holbrook, riding horses, roping, and herding cattle. He was proud of his cowboy name "Jesse James", as well as his cowboy hat and cowboy heritage. His family and friends will remember him as a very proud little cowboy with a BIG heart. After serving in the Army for 20 years, he retired to Casa Grande, Arizona. He was an avid golfer, he loved cigars, and lived life to its fullest. Jesse is survived by his daughter, Tina Powers of Castaic, California; his brother, Johnny Paulsell of Holbrook, Arizona; sisters, Louise Morgan of Reno, Nevada and Della Dickerson of Lakewood, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lloyd and Betty Paulsell; brother, Robert; sister, Leona Eaton. Memorial Services will be held at 1:00 P.M. Friday, July 8, 2011 at Owens Livingston Mortuary, 409 1st Ave. Holbrook, Arizona.
