Carrie Emma Yerkes

Carrie Emma Yerkes, age 60, passed away Monday, June 27, 2011 in Show Low, Arizona. She was born May 22, 1951 in Wheeling, West Virginia to William Henry Purcell and Oda Rosetta Longwell Purcell. Carrie was a loving wife to her husband, Anthony, for 45 years; they were married September 17, 1966. Carrie was a very upstanding person who was always helping other people; she was a saint. She worked as a Certified Nurses Assistant for 30 years. Carrie will be missed by her loving family, friends and everyone who knew her. She is survived by her husband Anthony; a sister Lottie Day, both of Snowflake; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers. Private services will be held.
