Cora M. Wright

Cora M. "Den-Den" Wright, formerly of Kingman and recently of Joseph City, left this world to join our Lord Jesus Christ on Thursday, June 2, 2011. Services will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, June 10, at the New Life Center Church, located at 4543 Main St. in Joseph City. She was born April 6, 1921, and enjoyed this earth for 90 years. Her husband, Noval D. Wright Sr., preceded her in death in 1992. She and her husband were members of the Greatest Generation, having lived through the Great Depression and World War II. Cora has two children, Glenda Sue "Winkie" (Tom) Penrod of Joseph City and Noval D. (Diana Westcott) Wright of Kingman; four grandchildren, Kelly Penrod (Tom Duke) of Marana, Terye (Mark) Simmons of Durango, Colo., Justin (Sarah) Wright of Henderson, Nev., and Casey D. (Dawn) Wright of Longview, Wash.; and four great-grandchildren, Jordyn, Zachary, Kaesha and D'Alene Wright. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, and will be missed. She now rests in the Kingdom of Heaven, watching over all of us as she has always done.
