Ivo Bernard Desch, Jr.

Ivo Bernard Desch, Jr. died early Friday morning, June 3, 2011 in Payson, Gila County, Arizona following a lengthy illness. He was 73 years old. Ivo was born on January 12, 1938 in Saint Petersburg, Pinellas County, Florida to the late Ivo Bernard, Sr. and Esther Marie (Jones) Desch. Ivo was raised in Jacksonville, Florida and moved to Arizona in 1984. Throughout his life he worked in the health care industry as a hospital housekeeper and took great pride in everything he did. He has lived in Tonto Basin, Arizona for several years and was well liked by his community of friends there. He was a loving brother and beloved uncle and cousin to his family and will be greatly missed by them. Ivo is survived by his: brother, David P. (Kathy) Desch of Taylor, Arizona; 2 cousins; 1 niece; 2 nephews; and many great and great-grand nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will begin 10:00 A.M., June 8, 2011 at St. Phillip's Catholic Church, 511 S. St. Phillip Street in Payson, Arizona. The committal service and interment will follow at the Tonto Basin Cemetery in Tonto Basin, Arizona.
