Lee Grey, Sr.

Lee Grey, Sr., of Lakeside, Navajo County, Arizona, passed away June 1, 2011 in Peoria, Maricopa County, Arizona. Lee was born on January 25, 1924 in Highland Park, Oakland County, Michigan to the late Arthur and Isabell (Harabadian) Grant. Lee faithfully served his county during WWII as a radio operator in the US Coast Guard. While serving his time he was awarded the sharpshooter award for his excellent marksmanship. Lee met the love of his life, Grace Yuhas, and on May 3, 1943 they were married. Lee and Grace enjoyed 62 wonderful years before her passing in 2006. An avid outdoorsman he loved to fish and hunt. A wonderful man he will be missed by all. Lee is survived by his son, Lee Grey, Jr. of Peoria, Arizona; daughter, Lynn (Jay) Millar of Westland, Michigan; 8 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace and a brother, Edward Grant. Private services will be held.
