Elizabeth May Smithson Sargent has joined her parents in heaven. Elizabeth was born May 19, 1962 in Holbrook, Arizona. She was raised in Holbrook and Woodruff, Arizona by Layne and Billie Smithson. She attended Holbrook Schools and graduated from Holbrook High School with the class of 1980. She and Charles were married September 18, 1984. They raised two sons, Eugene and Austin in Phoenix and then Holbrook. Elizabeth dedicated herself to raising her sons, supported her husband and made whatever house they lived in a home. She enjoyed knitting, playing games and chatting with friends, playing Yatzee, cheering on her Steelers and her annual Super Bowl party, Friday nights at Romo's, playing with her grandchildren and enjoying time with her soul mate. She was a devoted wife, mother and friend. Elizabeth loved deeply, smiled sweetly, dreamed big and lived simply. Her friends and family pay tribute to her life Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 11 a.m. in the Holbrook Stake Center of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints 1127 Helen Ave. in Holbrook, AZ. The concluding service and interment will follow at the Woodruff Cemetery in Woodruff, Arizona. She is survived by her husband, Charles; her children: Eugene (Leatrice), and Austin; her grandchildren: Grayson, Willow, Aythen, Tamika and Lucas; her siblings: Patricia, Shuree, Willard, Dennis and Kimberly; and many cousins, nieces and nephews.
