Steven Earl Taylor

Steven Earl Taylor, 69, died at his home in Holbrook, Arizona,on Saturday, April 16, 2011. Earl was born in Holbrook on March 22, 1942, to Lloyd M. Taylor and Lucille 9Davie) Taylor, the former proprietors of the Arizona Rancho Motel. He was mechanically inclined and inventive, able to create useful results from his own hands. Earl was an independent man from an earlier Arizona, who valued practicality and honesty. He was sensible and generous, a good neighbor with a wry, earthy humor, and an important part of his family. He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Helen and his brothers, Charles, and Tom. A memorial service will be held 3:00 P.M., May 21, 2011 at the St. Johns Cemetery.
