Jacqueline Mable Tabler died in the very early morning hours of Thursday, April 14, 2011 at her Lakeside, Arizona home from causes incident to her age. She was 92 years old. Jacqueline was born on January 24, 1919 in Dillon, Beaverhead County, Montana to the late Benjamin Claude and Helen (Fryman) Scott. She moved to Arizona 73 years ago from her native Montana and was a devoted homemaker to her family throughout her long and colorful life. As a younger woman, Jacqueline enjoyed living in tents at the several mining camps she called "home" throughout the state. She appreciated the beauty of the outdoors and learned to live off of the land. She was expert in hunting and fishing. Her parents taught her that to give of herself in service to her fellow man, she was only expressing her love of God. She was a "good Christian woman" in every sense of the word. Jacqueline Mable Tabler is survived by her daughter, Mernie Culp of Lakeside, Arizona; 2 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren. Her family is so appreciative to all who have expressed their sympathies to them through thought and deed and are grateful to the prayers that have been offered in their behalf.
