Robert Eugene Servis, Sr.

Robert Eugene Servis, Sr. died Tuesday, April 12, 2011 at his home in Overgaard, Navajo County, Arizona. He was 66 years old. Robert was born on October 11, 1944 in Lima, Allen County, Ohio to the late Charles William, Sr. and Betty Mae (Binkley) Servis. He was a United States Navy veteran and served his country honorably. Throughout his life, Robert worked as a residential and commercial painter. He was particular with his painting skills and was known for his professional and detailed work. Robert was a very independent man and "he did what he wanted, when he wanted." Always one to take responsibility for the choices that he made during his lifetime, he and his family were so proud as he, most recently, received his 11 year "sobriety chip." Robert Eugene Servis, Sr. is survived by his wife, Susan Servis of Overgaard, Arizona; 3 children: Robert Servis, Jr. of Tucson, Arizona, Tonia Westman of Phoenix, Arizona, Bobbi Servis of Phoenix, Arizona; step-daughter, Shannon Ferguson of Avondale, Arizona; 2 brothers: Charles Thomas Servis of Overgaard, Arizona, Gary Servis of Tempe, Arizona and 8 grandchildren. Private family services will be held.
