Lynda Louise Adams died in the early morning hours of Saturday, April 2, 2011 at the Lund House of Hospice of The Valley in Gilbert, Arizona following complications from a stroke. She was 69 years old. Lynda was born on June 13, 1941 in Herrin, Williamson County, Illinois. She was raised by her parents Robert Velechovsky and Louise (Strunk) Velechovsky. They instilled in her a sense of love that she truly appreciated all through her life. Lynda was a devoted homemaker to her family and no title made her more proud than that of "mother." She was so loving to her children and when her grandchildren started to arrive, she looked forward to doting on them as well. Lynda is survived by her 5 children: Allan Arvel (Leslie) Adams of Show Low, Arizona, Dwayne R. (Lori Haynes) Adams of Show Low, Arizona, Teresa Louise (Rick) MacDonald of Show Low, Arizona, Russell Franklin (Dana) Adams of Show Low, Arizona, Arvalynn (Lynn) Baldwin of Show Low, Arizona; the love of her life, Arvel Ross Adams of Show Low, Arizona; 16 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and her sister, Natalie Velechovsky of Las Vegas, Nevada. Lynda was preceded in death by: her parents, Robert and Louise Velechovsky and by 2 grandsons: Clifford and Joseph. The funeral service will begin 10:00 A.M., Friday, April 8, 2011 at the Downtown Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 300 N. 11th Street in Show Low, Arizona. The concluding service and interment will follow at the Show Low Cemetery in Show Low, Arizona.
