Brian Lee Briggs

Brian Lee Briggs died Thursday, March 24, 2011 at the Banner Good Samaritan in Phoenix, Maricopa County, Arizona. He was 71 years old. Brian was born on July 6, 1939 in Batavia, Genesee County, New York to the late Ralph William and Ruth Virginia (Sterling) Briggs. He was a proud citizen and showed his loyal devotion to his country by serving as a Major in The United States Marine Corps. Brian was also a loving father, grandfather, and brother to his family. Brian is survived by his 2 children: Thomas Andrew Briggs of Clay Springs, Arizona and Bonnie Jo Briggs of Clay Springs, Arizona; 12 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and a sister, Janet Briggs of Tempe, Arizona. Along with parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Carol Briggs. Memorial services are pending for a later date. Arrangements are being cared for by Owens Livingston Mortuary - White Mountain Chapel in Show Low, Arizona.
