Demehl Olsen, of Snowflake, Arizona passed away March 2, 2011 in Snowflake. He was 56. Demehl was born August 17, 1954 in Cardston, Alberta Canada to Loye and Anna Louise (Crouter) Olsen. Demehl and Diana were married on New Years Day, January 1, 1997, figuring that both of them would always have the day off to celebrate. They were sealed in the Cardston, Alberta, Canada Temple on June 2, 1998. Their children were many, many horses and dogs. Demehl was the ultimate cowboy, the last of a dying breed. His life started with horses and ended with horses, which was where he was always happiest. Demehl was somewhat of a celebrity while living in Scottsdale, Arizona. He was a model for the Scottsdale Travel and Entertainment Scene. You could find his photos with his horse Skip almost everywhere. He worked for Westworld and Rawhide. He was a stage coach driver for the mule teams at Rawhide. Demehl will be greatly missed by us all but also by all his animals. He is survived by his wife, Diana Eaton-Olsen of Snowflake; Parents, Loye and Anna Louise (Crouter) Olsen; brothers: Robert (Valerie) Olsen, Danny (Margorie) Olsen; sisters: Valena (Kelly) Nielson, Deanna Wynder as well as many extended family and friends. Funeral services will be held 1:00PM Monday March 7, 2011 at the Pioneer Chapel of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Snowflake, Arizona with a visitation one hour prior to services. Interment will follow in the R.V. "Mike" Ramsay Memorial Cemetery.
